DSP TUNING & SETUP
SOFTWARE FEATURES

OUTPUT LIMITERS

ARC Audio’s DNA software includes a fully assignable Limiter on every available output channel, giving users real-time control over signal peaks to protect speakers, preserve dynamics, and avoid distortion or component failure. Each limiter features adjustable threshold, attack, and decay settings, allowing installers to tune how aggressively or gradually the system responds to over-limit signals.

Threshold defines the level at which the limiter engages. Attack controls how quickly the limiter reacts to peaks, while decay sets how fast it recovers after the signal drops back below the threshold. With adjustments as refined as milliseconds, users can shape response behavior to match anything from high-output subs to delicate tweeters.

Limiters can be applied individually or to custom groups—from one channel to all channels, or any combination in between—giving ultimate flexibility during system setup or tuning. Presets like “Tweeter Protection” and “Loudness Control” provide quick-start solutions for common use cases.

Whether you're taming a harsh movie intro or safeguarding competition-grade gear, the limiter panel adds pro-level safety and polish to any tuning workflow—without sacrificing audio quality or control.
