At its core is a powerful neodymium motor structure with a custom-machined top plate and a secondary bucking magnet that intensifies the magnetic gap and minimizes distortion under high-output conditions. A large copper cap reduces inductance, lowers non-linear distortion, and extends high-frequency detail—ensuring transparency and accuracy across the listening range.

The AS100’s tuned rear chamber manages dome compliance and resonance, allowing for an extended lower crossover point and seamless integration with midrange drivers in 2-way or 3-way active setups. Heat is efficiently managed through internal venting under the diaphragm, contributing to long-term reliability even in demanding acoustic environments.

To support convertible coaxial applications with the AS600—and the forthcoming AS690—the AS100 includes a reinforced overmolded nutsert at the rear of the housing. This design provides a secure and vibration-resistant threaded mounting solution, ensuring long-term durability and installation confidence in high-vibration automotive or powersports environments.
