Standing with a total mounting depth of 1.44 inches, the speaker's compact stamped chassis design incorporates a series of breakaway mounting tabs to allow for OEM direct fit replacement into a wide range of OEM applications in today's new vehicles.

The AS 250 motor assembly is built around a high-quality Y35 ferrite magnet. This selection balances exceptional sound quality and performance while keeping costs under control. Additionally, the ferrite magnet offers excellent voice coil cooling benefits to minimize power compression and ensure longevity.

The AS 250 feature a tempered and treated low-mass CCAW winding on a 0.8 inch (21mm) Kapton former. This low-mass design delivers excellent power handling and ensures excellent dynamics and control. Though compact, the driver has undergone extensive thermal testing to provide the best heat management possible in a driver of this size, significantly increasing the speaker's long-term reliability and overall performance.
