The ARC Audio AS600 is a premium 6.5" midbass driver engineered for use in 2-way or 3-way active systems, offering the flexibility to meet the needs of modern active channel or DSP-controlled systems. Whether paired with the AS100 tweeter or the AS250 wideband midrange in a 2-way configuration, or as part of a full 3-way front stage, the AS600 delivers dynamic, low-distortion performance with exceptional clarity and control. It can also be converted into an Active Integrated Coaxial Solution by mounting the AS100 directly into the center pole—ideal for space-constrained or stealth installations.

At the heart of the AS600 is a robust cast aluminum basket, housing a Y35 ferrite motor with an extended copper sleeve over the T-yoke to reduce distortion and maximize control under dynamic conditions. A 1.5-inch CCAW voice coil is wound on a high-temperature non-conductive Till former, improving thermal management and reducing unwanted magnetic artifacts for consistent output.

The cone is built from ARC Audio’s proprietary blend of pressed aramid fiber, coconut fiber, and extracted pulp—a material chosen for its ultra-lightweight strength, natural voicing, and resonance control at high excursion levels. This construction helps the AS600 reproduce recordings with smooth, powerful authority—especially in DSP-tuned systems designed for musical precision. A low-shore rubber surround and progressive Nomex spider provide mechanical control and long-term durability.

The AS600’s signature “Juicer” dust cap does more than complete the AS Series’ visual identity—it eliminates unwanted resonance modes common to undamped dust caps and cross-cone phase plug designs. Its semi-parabolic profile and vertical structural splines provide added rigidity and physical resilience, helping resist damage from fingers, gear, or display mishandling. For coaxial applications, the Juicer can be removed to install the AS100 tweeter, creating a center-mounted Active Integrated Coaxial Solution. And a red foam insert—visible during unpacking—keeps debris out of the voice coil during transport and installation.

With a 2.85" mounting depth and a 5.76" cutout diameter, the AS600 fits easily into a wide range of OEM and custom applications. Like all AS Series speakers, it undergoes ARC Audio’s rigorous in-house thermal and mechanical testing, ensuring long-term durability and real-world reliability.
