The ARC Audio DNA software includes a built-in Auto-Update utility that ensures your tuning environment and processor firmware are always up to date with the latest features, improvements, and compatibility enhancements. When DNA is launched on a Windows 10 (or newer) PC and connected to an ARC Audio Pro-Series DSP product with an internet connection, the system automatically checks for updates to the DNA software itself, as well as firmware, DSP code, controller versions, and more—guaranteeing optimal performance and stability with zero guesswork.

These updates are developed, tested, and deployed entirely in-house by ARC Audio’s engineering team. No third parties. No long wait cycles. This ensures that every update reflects the real-world needs of professional installers, OEM integrators, competition tuners, and daily users. Updates not only resolve potential software bugs but also enable new features, maintain compatibility with evolving operating systems, and prepare your system for upcoming hardware releases—all without losing any of your tuning progress or device presets.

The Auto-Update functionality lives within the Firmware tab, which also offers advanced tools for hands-on support. In addition to cloud-based updates, users can manually upload update files provided directly by ARC Audio’s support staff. This is especially helpful when troubleshooting specific installation challenges—allowing technicians to issue a targeted firmware build for validation without deploying it system-wide through the update cloud.

This same panel also provides instant access to release notes, support ticket submission, and ARC’s Quick Assist remote diagnostic support tool. Through this interface, users can email configuration files, load notes, and request support from our DSP team. And if needed, a technician can temporarily connect via Quick Assist (with your permission) to walk through system settings, identify issues, or verify optimal configuration.
