The ARC Audio LRC is a dedicated remote level control cable designed for use with ARC Audio’s programmable remote controllers, including the discontinued LR1 and the current LR2 single-function DSP level controller. Engineered as both a replacement and expansion accessory, the RLC ensures proper communication and reliable operation between ARC Audio controllers and compatible DSPs or DSP amplifiers.
When used as a replacement cable, the LRC restores full functionality for LR1 or LR2 controllers by providing a direct, processor-compatible connection. For LR2 users looking to control two ARC Audio DSPs simultaneously, the LRC plays a critical role by enabling the required second connection. While the LR2 includes one LRC cable in the box for single-processor operation, a second LRC cable is required to connect an additional processor and maintain synchronized control of the assigned function—such as master volume or subwoofer level—across both units.
Each LRC cable is 5 meters (20 feet) in length and comes pre-terminated on both ends with ARC Audio–specific connectors for simple, plug-and-play installation. When used in dual-processor LR2 configurations, the LRC provides the digitally isolated signal path necessary to allow two processors to operate simultaneously without interference or unintended interaction.
Designed for reliability, compatibility, and installation flexibility, the ARC Audio LRC is an essential accessory for maintaining or expanding remote control functionality in ARC Audio DSP-based systems.
