By consumer and dealer demand the popular ARC Audio Motorcycle Performance Audio Kits (MPAKS) have been reconfigured and simplified to better serve our customers and dealers. Since the overwhelmingly successful launch of our MOTO 602-HD speaker in the spring of 2019, there have been frequent requests from our customers and dealers to offer these speakers in MPAKs. At the same time, we took note of the large proportion of MPAK sales being primarily those that featured our MOTO720 amplifier.
The new MPAKs fall into a more simplified lineup consisting of two new MPAK foundation offerings for the 1999-2013 Harley bagger models and two new MPAKs for the 2014 and newer Harley baggers. We even simplified the MPAK naming to better incorporate the model application and contents of the kit.
For 1999-2013 bagger models we offer the MPAK13-CX and the MPAK13-HD. The updated name denotes the application year of 2013 and under HD baggers while the acronym at the end helps denote the speaker type coming with the selected kit. MPAK 13 kits will ship with the MOTO720 amplifier and as before, these new MPAKs will offer a full plug-and play wiring harness, upgraded power and ground harness, speaker adapters and installation hardware. Customers now have the option to choose the preferred speakers that come with their MPAK kit. The MPAK13 kit comes with the MOTO602V2 Coaxial speakers or for a small upgrade charge the users ca select the MOTO602-Hd speaker for the next level of volume and performance.
For owners of 2014 and newer Harley baggers models will have a choice between the MPAK14-CX and the MPAK14-HD. The updated name denotes the application year of 2014 and up HD baggers while the acronym at the end helps denote the speaker type coming with the selected kit. The MPAK14 kits each ship with the MOTO720 amplifier and include our HD-FH2014 one-bag wiring solution consisting of integration harnesses, power and ground harness and installation hardware and the RG15 mounting plate creating a single kit solution for both Street Glide and Road glide applications..
The PSM will still remain as a packaged add-on optional product for customers at ARC Audio.com when selecting and configuring their customized MPAK kits however, it will revert to a standalone purchase that will continue to ship with all harnesses necessary to remain a plug-and-play option with any of the new MPAKs. As an added benefit, all PSMs shipping as of June 1, 2020 will include four male-to-male barrel connectors for RCA connections between the PSM and a MOTO720. This will allow independent EQ control of all four amplifier channels with no additional RCA wire purchase required. Still a fan of the KS125.2BX2 Mini? No, problem! The KS 125.2 Mini will still be available for purchase as a stand alone unit and can be integrated with both the HD Harness and the HD-FH2014 harness allowing it to be installed into most any Harley bagger from 1999 and up!
With these four new MPAK offerings, ARC Audio will be better positioned to meet the demands of the evolving Harley bagger market. The new MPAKs deliver what customers have been asking for.
