OUTPUT LEVELS
ARC DNA’s Output Levels panel gives users detailed control over the individual output signal levels of each channel, helping installers refine final system balance, match amplifier input sensitivity, and optimize channel-to-channel consistency. Like all DNA panels, this section is dynamically adaptive, automatically displaying the correct number of outputs based on the DSP processor you’re connected to.
Each output can be adjusted from 0dB (unity gain) down to -48dB, or boosted up to +6dB, using intuitive sliders or typed input. You can tune channels individually or in user-defined groups, whether you’re leveling tweeters and midranges, adjusting for speaker efficiency differences, or reducing output to external equipment that can’t tolerate ARC’s full-voltage signal.
This tool is especially useful in real-world systems where speaker placement, axis response, or amplifier sensitivity mismatches require fine balancing. It's also commonly used to reduce output voltage to third-party amplifiers that can’t accept the high-voltage signals ARC DSPs provide.
All output channels are clearly labeled and can be custom named in the Preset Settings panel, helping you stay organized and efficient during the tuning process. It’s simple, precise, and essential for final system alignment.
