SIGNAL DELAY

ARC DNA’s Signal Delay system gives you complete control over speaker timing alignment—crucial for imaging, staging, and creating a lifelike listening experience. Each output channel includes up to 40 milliseconds of delay, adjustable in ultra-fine 0.01ms increments, allowing precise alignment of speaker arrival times. Delay can be applied in your choice of units: milliseconds, samples, millimeters, centimeters, inches, or feet, making it easy to match your preferred workflow or measurement tool.

Channels can be adjusted individually, or linked in custom groups—whether stereo pairs or full system zones—so you can dial in delay globally or per speaker. 180° phase flip is available on every channel for fast correction of speaker polarity or acoustic phase issues.

Users can type in delay values, use drag-and-drop sliders, or navigate adjustments in real time using keyboard arrow keys—even with eyes closed—for intuitive, repeatable tuning. Paired with ARC DNA’s Delta Delay calculator, you can enter physical distance measurements and let the software handle the math, then further refine by ear—all without overwriting your baseline settings.

Channel labels are clearly displayed and fully customizable, helping you stay organized and efficient—even in the most complex system layouts.
